The Museum was established in 1967. This is a private museum with historical, religious and artistic heritage. To set up the museum, Dr. Salvador Kibrick contributes his private collection. It features two rooms- one displays ritual objects and documents from the Jewish immigration to Argentina; the other room features valuable paintings of Jewish themes.
The history of the city is chronicled in the halls of this memorable museum. The stunning exterior offers a taste of the beauty and elegance found within. The museum belongs to the Israelite Congregation of the Argentine Republic, founded in 1862. The name of the museum honors its founder, Dr. Salvador Kibrick, who passed away in 1981.
The museums also conduct seminars to make new generation familiar with all the old museum display. Guided tours are available in English and Spanish and include a visit to the Synagogue.
