Buenos Aires History Related To Influence Of Trade
Even back when Spain had control over Buenos Aires (and Argentina in general), trade has served as the lifeblood of the city. Trade also helped bring in political ideas that influenced the fate of the city, and the country in turn, later on.
Even though Buenos Aires has been a city for the wealthy, many poor people coexist with them too, which may explain why Peronism and Evita Peron became so popular.
