World Tango Festival

World tango festival will give an authentic tribute to the "tangueras" and "milongueros" from all over the world. It is held for seven days; there you enjoy an unforgettable experience, dancing tangos, milongas long into the night.

The best orchestras from Buenos Aires will be offering their live music to their 7 "Milongas" and the Great Masters from the world tango festival will be sharing their dance with all the participants.

The 5th World Tango Festival shall be held in Buenos Aires in October 2006. This will be a spectacular event, considering the superb quality of the couples of Great Masters who will be in charge of the workshops. They themselves shall perform during the Opening and Closing Shows. There will also be six Great Orchestras playing live through the seven nights of the festival in addition to the various exclusive highlights, such as top level artistic performances scheduled for the different nights.

Last year, at end of the Closing Show (2005), which took place at grand ballroom Palais Rouge, the event received a glorious response. There was an attendance of more than 800 people from 35 different countries. Much more is expected this year.
