Alto Palermo

Alto Palermo established in 1990 is the main shopping centre in the city. Its daring architectural design, awarded by the International Council of Shopping Centers, re- creates a four- cornered structure with a mirror- like exterior.

It has three storeys, decorated in marble, ceramic tiles and fine wood. It holds more than 180 shops, a dining area for 750 people, a cyber- café and a roofed parking lot for 700 cars.

The fun fair is a good option for youngsters and children. The two movie theatres at the place provide special package for children under 12.

The 154 shops in the center offer vast local street- wear brands like Bensimon and Bowen for the boys and Akiabara, Ona Saez and Rapsodia for the girls. Surf and skate store Cristobal Colón does storming trade in board shorts; locally made versions of Puma and Adidas streamlined footwear. This is a unique shopping center for kids. The mall also has a cinema if you prefer live entertainment.
