The Oldest Subway System in Buenos Aires

With its first line opening for public use in 1913, the Subte of Buenos Aires is the oldest of its kind in South America.  It works just like the subways of the United States.  Tickets are available from the stations’ ticket booths, as well as from vending machines just outside the station.
